I did not say that Ron Paul had necessarily achieved great things. But he must necessarily be classified as a gradualist. He must vote on one piece of legislation at a time and must treat his non-libertarian colleagues with respect, both of which constitute a violation of "principle".
I'm not saying that one libertarian elected official is all an individualist needs. I am saying that the voters won't vote for radicals of any political persuasion. If a politician of any political persuasion is a gradualist, he stands a much better chance of getting elected where he can exercise some power, however limited it might be.

Yes. I consider Ron Paul a Libertarian.
Exactly. We've seen how much success Ron Paul's had getting legislation passed. He's just a voice in the wilderness.
That said, I use him as an example of what a libertarian in Congress would be like, when people ask. I can say we already have one.
